Meet The Team

Emily Imber
Founder

Emily Imber has been a paralegal since 2007. Initially, Emily wanted to be an attorney. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science in 2003, she decided to take some time to determine if that career path was right for her. After many souls searching and significant life events, Emily decided that being an attorney was not the right career move and that being the best paralegal she would be was what she wanted to do. In 2007, Emily began working in a law firm as a file clerk and attended City College of Fort Lauderdale for Paralegal Studies. Emily was quickly promoted to a Paralegal within the firm and graduated in 2009 with her Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies. At that time, she was also a Certified Paralegal (CP) through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) and a Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) with the Florida Bar. Since then, Emily has worked in various types of law, including Civil Litigation, Complex Litigation, Contracts, Property Law, Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Insurance Defense, Appellate work, Entertainment Law, and Intellectual Property, to name a few.

In 2013, Emily decided she wanted to work for herself. She had gained vast knowledge from the different offices and attorneys she had worked with and felt that she could better serve her family and herself by working as a Freelance Paralegal. In 2013, she founded Alliance Legal Services and began doing freelance, virtual work for local attorneys while working full-time in a law office until she could build her client base. It was not until 2019 that Emily could quit her full-time job and work solely on her business. Her work earned her much success with word of mouth from her clients, and soon she could start expanding her business. In 2021, the Company was rebranded and became Alliance Virtual Solutions, LLC. The company began offering permanent placements for law firms looking for in-house paralegals and continuing to support law firms with top-notch virtual paralegal services. In May of 2021, Emily’s Trademark was granted for the use of the term Virtual Model® which is the system Emily created to service her virtual clients seamlessly. The business now services law firms in over 10 states in the USA, with the goal to service law firms in all 50 states.
Law firms seek Emily to teach their new paralegals how to be expert paralegals and be an asset to their firm. She has been a guest speaker at various college paralegal programs and offers a series of lectures called the File to Trial Series - The Art of Paralegalism.
Emily is the mother of a teenage son and has two horses, a dog, and a leopard gecko. She loves to barrel race, go trail riding, hang out with her son, play with the dog, travel, watch football and spend time in nature.

Janann Fine
Executive Recruiter

I'm Janann Fine, and I'm passionate about the legal profession and helping people.  I was inspired by a paralegal who assisted my family during the wrongful death of my 16 year old brother. Thus, I began my legal career path shortly after graduating high school in 1984. As a Florida Registered Paralegal, I currently work as a freelance recruiter and as a litigation Paralegal. I am a native Floridian. My alma mater is Palm Beach State College f/k/a Palm Beach Community College with an A.S. in Paralegal Studies. I attended Palm Beach Community College on academic scholarships from the Lion’s Club, the college, and I was the recipient of the first ever Attorney/Realtor Joint Committee Scholarship. I also have a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University. As a Paralegal with a Criminal Justice degree, I worked on the “Weed and Seed” grant project for Palm Beach County’s Criminal Justice Commission managing $850,000 of asset forfeiture grant money. My professional goals are to learn as much as I can about the many fields of law and to hopefully become a paraprofessional in the legal field. My personal goals are to become a dual language speaker and to learn to play the harp. My favorite part of being an actively working paralegal is drafting challenging motions that the attorney can rely on in Court to win their argument.  As a homeschool mom of 3 beautiful children, I enjoy spending time with my family.  I found my passion in homeschooling my children and have been a  volunteer youth soccer coach since 2006. As a side-gig, I am a Certified USA Soccer Referee. Because my two older children are also USA Soccer Referees, I am able to work soccer games with them on weekends. When I am not recruiting, drafting, coaching or refereeing, I enjoy traveling, hiking, cooking, boating and attending community theater and all genres of concerts.  I am a huge lover of music and community theater and volunteering in my community. My motto to young people searching for their career path is to – “Chose a career that pays your bills, while you follow your passion, I am lucky enough that my career choice offers me both.
